Poems from a lost soul on my own healing journey. Life doesn’t quite ever turn out like you expected it. In my darkest hour, I came to the realization that it was me who held the power and control to make this a life worth living. My therapist suggested journaling for me to explore this new period of growth and mindfulness; I felt conflicted, worried that I didn’t know how to write. She warmly reminded me that judgments have no place in mindfulness. I took a leap of faith with determination and wrote what I know. Dark and light, love and book is Twenty-one steps I took in a new direction and my trek along the way. Life can be dark and lonely, my hope with this book is that you never feel completely alone in your story.
